Soldiers Point Public Schools Fete

 

Today I’ll be speaking to you about Soldiers Point Public Schools Fete. It was the first school fete at Soldiers Point Public School in the last eight years or so. The fete was ofically held on the 11th of September 2010. Soldiers Point Public School raised around about fourty  thousand dollars. Which I think was a fantastic achievment for Soldiers Point Public School.

There were  lots of stalls and rides I liked them all. There were also alot of performances I really liked this school fete alot.

I hope theres another school fete soon.

But next time you should come.

My Number #1 Dad

 

My dad is a perfect  father, brother, son and pop. He cooks really well too. But the thing I love mos tabout my dad is that he always looks on the bright side of life no matter what.

When you first see my dad you might think he is chubby, mean and maybe even ugly. But under neath all that there is a really big heart. To be a perfect dad its really hard but I think he covers all the capabilities of being a great dad I know it takes alot to be a perfect father, son, brother and pop you need to have a big heart my dad is always relaxed and just lets us kids be who we are he also says that the sky is the limit. My dad lets us kids and him have some really great adventures together.

My dads cooking is also one of the many things he can do really well. He cooks the best pancackes and carbonare in the world! Now I know that sounds kind of  weirdand everybody thinks that there dad is the best cook i the  world but to me my dad really is. Well I think he is anyway.

 Pictures

 

The first picture is named Big Bunny and the second picture is named Big Buck Bunny.

I like the big bunny picture because it shows that you can just express your feelings when drawing a picture and I also think it is very artistic, very colourful and naturally a picture that expresses all different emotions such as funny, happy, sad, worried, relaxed and hurtful.

Last but not least the second picture Big Buck Bunny. I love this picture because it’s cute, funny and represents Creative Commons. I think the artist of this picture has a great imagination of cute creatures such as a little orange fox, a grey and white mouse, a pinky purpley butterfly a little brown chipmunk and an enourmous bunny. I personally love this picture because it’s promoting Creative Commons in a way that will intrest kids in Creative Commons.

Camp Morisset

 

About a year ago now I went on a camp with my old school and I had a lot of fun. But this year my new school went on the same camp but I didn’t really want to go again so I didn’t. So now I’m just going to tell you what I did last year when I went to Camp Morisset.

Last year at Camp Morisset I went on a lot of thrilling activities and you could never be bored because it was either you were eating really nice food, about to pull a cord 15 meters off the ground or even sitting out at the camp fire looking up at the stars.

So first of all the food. The food is really good out of all the YUK food I have eaten at school camps this camp had the best by far. You could have pancakes for breakfast, hamburgers and snow cones for lunch, spaghetti for dinner and ice cream for dessert. You can also get a hot chocolate when your out at the bushfire.

Second the amazing activities there are the Giant Swing, High Ropes, Rock Climbing, Archery, Orienteering, Matrix. Cooking Damper and Canoeing. All of these were really fun but the best was the High Ropes because I was first and they were really fun.

Thirdly the camp fire was really fun because Auzzie told us some really funny stories.

 Last was the bad bit, leaving Camp Morisset because it was just so fun. If school was like camp I wouldn’t want to ever leave school. But I really recommend that you should ask your teachers if you can go to Camp Morisset for our next camp.

My Trip To Queensland

 

I went to Queensland on the 17th of May 2010. It was really fun. My brothers went on all of the rides and I stuck with my mum, but I went on most of the rides. Whilst I was in Queensland I went to all of the theme parks and I stayed right next door to Sea World. I think that I was probably most daring at wet and wild.

Murder Under the Microscope aka MUM is an online activity for students. I have learnt  that it’s not about winning MUM, it’s about  having fun and working as a team. Even though our class didn’t win we still had a go and had fun. Every week we got new clues and new mysterys to solve. i had fun working as a team with my class. Even  though we didn’t win our class still worked together and had fun.
